TS Galaxy and Bloemfontein Celtic face each other for the first time in a DStv Premiership clash at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday.
Both sides have struggled for results this season, with Galaxy recording just three wins to Celtic's four leaving the two teams separated by just two points.
But under new head coach Owen da Gama, the Rockets have begun to find some form, and come into this tie unbeaten in their last four league matches, last drawing 1-1 away to Chippa United.
Celtic also drew 1-1 with Chippa in their last fixture, after an impressive 2-1 defeat of high-flying SuperSport United.
Speaking ahead of this tie, Da Gama said: "We've just carried on and done what we have to do. Management and the whole technical team have done well in managing the situation. We've all been united.
"That unity is the strength of what we’ve achieved so far. It is not about the coach but the unity within the team. Everybody wants to win.
"We are playing a Celtic team that has done very well. They are above us on the log. When I was at Highlands Park last season, they beat us on goal-difference to finish in the top eighth."
Reflecting on his side's recent draw, Celtic coach John Maduka, added: "We controlled the game and scored but that changed when we had a player sent off.
"That changed everything, also our game plan because we were down to 10 men and we tried to compete. In the end we got punished.
"That said, we were happy with a point, especially against a team like Chippa that combine well. We defended so well. That gives us something to build on."
