Chippa United will look to pick up their first victory of the PSL season when they host Polokwane City at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday.
The Chilli Boys started the season with back-to-back home draws against Stellenbosch FC and Mamelodi Sundowns respectively. They then suffered a 2-1 loss to Golden Arrows this past weekend to extend their winless run. Polokwane City, on the other hand, have made an impressive start to the 2019/2020 campaign, having picked up two wins in three league matches, while also beating defending champions Cape Town City in the quarterfinals of the MTN8. They did however lose in their last league outing as they suffered a 2-1 to reverse Bidvest Wits. Rise and Shine head coach Zlatko Krmpotic isn't getting carried away by the Limpopo club's promising start. He said: "At times like these we have to be humble and consider that this is a project we are taking step-by-step. "It’s a good win but it doesn't say anything. You are only as good as your last result. "This is not the same team as last year. But we will try to make the same result. But in football it is not easy to repeat the same result."
