Black Leopards v Cape Town City
Black Leopards will be looking to climb out of the Absa Premiership relegation playoff place when they host Cape Town City at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.

In order to do so Leopards need to win and hope on Free State Stars and Chippa United drawing or losing and Baroka not winning. As it stands Lidoda Duvha, Stars and Chippa are all on 27 points, with Baroka on 28.

Baroka will be playing against Maritzburg United, Free State Stars take on Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United clash with Kaizer Chiefs. Dylan Kerr's side broke a three-match losing streak with a 1-1 draw against AmaZulu at King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium last Saturday. Meanwhile, City produced an impressive fightback to draw 2-2 with Orlando Pirates. The last time the sides met, Benni McCarthy's side cruised to a 3-1 victory at Cape Town Stadium last November.

And Kerr is calling for the Lidoda Duvha faithful to come out in their numbers for what is a must-win clash. "We need to unite, be friends and play for each other on Saturday," he said. "I'm hoping the whole Venda community will be behind us, we need to win and not rely on anyone to do us favours. "We don't have control of what will be happening in other games. Baroka will be playing against Maritzburg United, Free State Stars against Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United against Kaizer Chiefs, which is very hard to predict these days."

The English tactican has bemoaned his side's inconsistency as a major factor as to why his side are in the predicament they are currently in. "We lack consistency. We've hurt ourselves in our home games, at times played like we are still in the National First Division," added the 54-year-old. "We are hoping this weekend we can survive so we can solve our problem. I'm positive and also the support from the management gives me hope. "Craig Martin and Thato Mokeke will be sorely missed by the men from Cape Town with both having suffered injuries. Meanwhile, Leopards will be sweating on the fitness of the league's top goal-scorer Mwape Musonda, who has been battling a knee injury in recent times.
