Brandon Mason back from ban as St Mirren target another win over Rangers
St Mirren’s Brandon Mason returns from suspension for the visit of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.
The Buddies defender missed the win over Ross County at the weekend after his dismissal in the match against Hibernian.
St Mirren will look to do the double over the league leaders after knocking them out of the Betfred Cup earlier in the month.
Scott Arfield will be absent for Rangers after limping off against Hibernian on Saturday.
The substitute had only been on the pitch for six minutes when he injured an ankle in a collision with Melker Hallberg. He has been sent for a scan which will determine whether he can face Celtic in Saturday’s Old Firm derby.
Ryan Jack will again be missing with a problematic knee injury which continues to frustrate boss Steven Gerrard, while Nikola Katic (knee) is still out long term.
