History will be made this Thursday night as Wolfsberger and Tottenham go head-to-head for the very first time.

The Austrian side couldn’t have picked a better time to play Spurs. Jose Mourinho’s men have lost five of their last six games in all competitions – including a 3-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City last weekend. 

Wolfsberger aren’t having a great season themselves however, their run of three victories from four games looks encouraging. 

The game is taking place at a neutral location – Puskas Arena in Budapest – and this could favor Spurs who are no strangers to European travels. 

Tottenham are struggling but they have enough fire power to get a morale boosting first-leg win. Mourinho’s side is unbeaten in all six European games against Austrian sides and that record should continue this Thursday night.
