Rangers are enjoying a wonderful season under the stewardship of Steven Gerrard. With the Scottish title almost wrapped up, the team turn their attention to the Europa League this Thursday night as they look to extend their stay in the competition.

Their opponents are Royal Antwerp – a Belgium side which is second in their domestic league and a massive 13 points behind the league leaders Club Brugge. 

Rangers have lost just one competitive game since August 2020 and have impressed in the Europa League this season. Gerrard’s men are big favourites to progress and they should get past Antwerp without too much drama. 

One of the most impressive things about the Scottish outfit this season has been their defence. The team has conceded three goals from their last ten games and keeping it tight at the back will be the key against a side that has managed to score in nine straight games.
