Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel faces NGolo Kante call ahead of Porto clash

Thomas Tuchel will make a late call on whether N’Golo Kante can start Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Porto.

Kante has only just shaken off his latest hamstring problem and Chelsea also take on Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.

Manager Tuchel remains unsure at this point whether Kante can manage two matches in the week and so the France World Cup winner could take a seat on the bench in Seville.

Chelsea’s 23-man travelling squad: Arrizabalaga, Rudiger, Alonso, Christensen, Jorginho, Silva, Kante, Abraham, Pulisic, Werner, Caballero, Zouma, Mendy, Kovacic, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi, Chilwell, Ziyech, James, Azpilicueta, Havertz, Palmieri.
