It's 11th versus seventh at the London Stadium on Saturday, with West Ham looking to avoid a fourth straight league defeat.

Paddy Power pre-match odds: West Ham 21/10, Draw 12/5, Leicester 5/4*

Despite a much improved display, the Hammers went down 2-1 at Manchester United last weekend and that made it five defeats in seven matches - leaving them five points behind Leicester.

West Ham have an impressive home record this term, with just one defeat in their last seven home league games, and are unbeaten in their last three meetings with the Foxes.

Manuel Pellegrini has been boosted by the news that Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez have trained without problems this week and both could come into contention. Marko Arnautovic has also recovered from illness and is expect to start on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts though are without Manuel Lanzini and Samir Nasri due to injury, while Javier Hernandez will face a late check having missed training on Wednesday and Thursday due to an ear issue.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Marc Albrighton comes into contention for the trip to the capital. The winger has been sidelined for two months with a hamstring problem, but made a 10-minute cameo in last week's defeat to Newcastle.

The only players now missing for the Foxes, who are seeking a third consecutive away win, are long-term absentees Daniel Amartey and Matty James.

October's clash at the King Power Stadium finished in a 1-1 draw, with Wilfred Ndidi grabbing a last-minute equaliser for Leicester against 10-man West Ham, following Mark Noble's first-half red card.

Betting Tips

Since the arrival of the former Celtic and Liverpool manager to the King Power Stadium, things have really picked up for Leicester City.

The Foxes were on a four-match win run before finally being beaten at home to relegation threatened Newcastle United.

West Ham are currently on course to set a four-match streak of their own however, it’s certainly not one which they’ll be celebrating. Following three successive defeats to Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United, Manuel Pallegrini’s men will be desperate to end their dire run.

One thing that the head to head record suggests to us is that West Ham do indeed have a chance in this game. The Hammers are unbeaten against Leicester in three straight encounters. What’s more, the Foxes have only recorded two wins from their last seven trips away to West Ham.

A case can easily be made for either team in what shapes up to be a tight Premier League encounter. With such a tough game to call the recommendation has to be a draw at 13/5.
