The only two sides with perfect records go head to head as both Liverpool and Arsenal look to make it three wins from three.
Liverpool have had a busy few weeks. Despite kicking off the season with a defeat in the Community Shield, Jurgen Klopp’s side went on to beat Norwich on the opening day of the Premier League season.
They then travelled to Istanbul where a win on penalties over Chelsea saw them lift the UEFA Super Cup. After winning their first silverware of the season, the Reds then managed to overcome the short turnaround and beat Southampton 2-1 at St. Mary’s.
Arsenal’s fortnight has been a lot quieter. A moderate 1-0 win over Newcastle set the gunners up and running in this new Premier League season.
Then a 2-1 win over Burnley at the Emirates made it two wins from two for Unai Emery’s side.
Looking at the betting, the hosts have been made big favorites at the current price of 1/2. That is not an attractive price by any stretch of the imagination. This is why the recommendation is for Liverpool to win and both teams to score at 6/4.
