Jeff Hendrick is expected to deputise, while Danny Drinkwater will miss out again as well, with the former Leicester man still a couple of weeks away from a return following an ankle issue.
As for Everton, they welcome back Andre Gomes after injury while Theo Walcott is also available despite being knocked out in the defeat to the champions, but the game may come too soon for Jean-Philippe Gbamin, who has returned to training this week.
