GOAL, ARSENAL, TROSSARD! 3-1; Trossard slips beautifully past two Liverpool players down the left, and works his way into the box at speed without slowing he shoots on goal but it gets a deflection under the boot of Van Dijk and the deflection is enough to slip through the legs of of Becker in the Liverpool goal for Arsenal's THIRD of the night and surely the winner (or the confirming goal, at any rate).
YELLOW CARD, LIVERPOOL, NUNEZ. Nelson slides in from the right touchline, crossing the ball in but it's cleared by Liverpool, the ball comes to Nunez who looks to go past Gabriel but he seems to be brought down, but the ref disagrees Nunez (and I can't say I blame him, although it's not a Mensa-level decision) gets up and remonstrates like an air-traffic controller trying to get a plane to crash. He's rewarded with a yellow card.
RED CARD, LIVERPOOL, KONATE! The Liverpool man picks up a second yellow, and hence a red, for body checking Havertz as the Gunner tried to dribble past him, his hand also being held up to Havertz' neck.
