No new injuries for Coventry ahead of MK Dons clash
Coventry boss Mark Robins goes into his side’s Sky Bet League One clash with MK Dons with no fresh injury concerns.
Robins confirmed defender Sam McCallum has trained this week despite his late withdrawal from the 2-2 FA Cup draw at Bristol Rovers last weekend.
Midfielder Jordan Shipley is also fully fit after recovering from an illness that limited him to 51 minutes of the game at The Memorial Stadium.
The squad health gives Robins plenty of options to choose from as the promotion-chasing Sky Blues look to build on a run of three successive wins over the Christmas and new year period.
Carlton Morris is poised to make his debut for MK Dons after becoming Russell Martin’s first signing as manager following his appointment two months ago.
Morris has joined the Dons on loan until the end of the season from Norwich after previously spending the first half of the season with Rotherham, where he scored four goals and provided six assists in 27 matches.
After making seven changes for the 3-0 Leasing.com Trophy defeat at Newport in midweek, and being left disappointed by many who were handed an opportunity, Martin is set to recall a number of those who were left out.
It means the likes of goalkeeper Lee Nicholls, defenders Dean Lewington, Joe Walsh and Callum Brittain, midfielders Alex Gilbey and Conor McGrandles, and striker Rhys Healey are all in line to return.
