    Liverpool VS Fulham

FULL-TIME, LIVERPOOL 2-1 FULHAM. A superb advert for the game, as the minnows ran Liverpool ragged for a lot of the game, but Liverpool showed their class by coming back into the tie powerfully to take a one-goal lead through to the second leg. Great fight from Fulham, who possibly wasted four or five chances, but it was Liverpool's class that stole the show. It's looking strong for Liverpool for the second-leg, but Fulham will once again have nothing to loseso that second-leg has the promise of a great deal of excitement to come. Thanks for following the action with us tonight, and enjoy the rest of your sporting week.

YELLOW CARD, FULHAM, WILSON. The Fulham man carded for a half-hearted tackle from behind, but it was followed up with a half-rugby tackle as he looked to break down play.
